Warehouse Associate I / Delivery Driver

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver will work within the Supply Chain Department and be responsible for bi-weekly delivery of products and specimens to clients. Our products are made aseptically and are sterile-filled following cGMPs. In addition, this person may be asked to assist, and/or perform tasks outside of direct product delivery, such as document retrieval, transporting disposal to landfills/recycling centers, pickups of biological products and maintaining company vehicle cleanliness and upkeep . This person will always be expected to collaborate as a team player with personnel in Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service to effectively perform duties within Gemini.

Reporting Relationships

Direct Supervisor: Manager, Warehouse Operations

Indirect Supervisors: Director of Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compliance with all processes including and not limited to: timekeeping, attendance and punctuality, vehicle safety and cleanliness, safety and OSHA requirements, proper handling and storage of all orders from the company headquarters to client drop off point, proper packing of specimens for delivery, end of day vehicle checks, delivery uniform dress code, code of conduct and all Company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of specimens, supplies, equipment and materials to the appropriate destination
  • Responsible for operating company vehicle safely as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license and driving record within acceptable company guidelines
  • Follow route as scheduled/sequenced while allowing for will-call stops and special pickups
  • Maintain specimen integrity at all times
  • Communicate with Supply Chain team before leaving an area to ensure will-calls have been clear
  • Keep route information, sequencing and all client notes up to date
  • Use due diligence when traveling on roads, campuses and labs. Be aware of parking fees and restrictions
  • Maintain professionalism and a service orientation with clients using Everyday Excellence and Company Values
  • Be responsible for maintaining company uniform(s)
  • Other duties as defined by Supply Chain Management


  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines
  • Ability to use/follow GPS systems
  • Knowledge of the Sacramento and Bay Area regions
  • Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs
  • Reliable, detail oriented with strong work ethic

  • Good documentation skills
  • Ability to lift / move up to 70 lbs.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Documented One (1) to three (3) years previous driving experience (medical courier experience preferred)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid California Driver License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Pass required screening (MVR, Background, Drug test)
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • A proven ability to work as part of a team to deliver results
  • Organization Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 /hour
